OCEANSIDE–Authorities found a man on Monday evening with apparent stab wounds to his body.
Just before midnight, Oceanside police department dispatch received a radio call of a person who was located in the 1100 block of North Coast Highway with what appeared to be a stab wound to his body.
Officers and paramedics arrived on scene and began rendering medical aid. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead by medical staff.
Investigators were called out and are currently investigating the incident.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending the notification of the victim’s next of kin.
