Wanted sex offender.
ESCONDIDO–The Escondido Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a registered sex offender in their area.
John Patrick Butler, 55, is a registered sex offender who failed to update his registration information, as is required by law, and is now wanted for a felony for failing to do so.
Butler is a 55 year-old white male, five feet, eight inches, 200 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on his left forearm of moons and stars. He also has a merlin wizard tattoo on his right forearm.
