VISTA–A DUI driver Friday evening struck two joggers, killing one and seriously injuring the other, when his vehicle rolled over and crashed into a light pole in Vista.
The accident occurred just after 6 p.m. on South Melrose Drive. Sheriff’s deputies and paramedics transported the injured jogger and driver of the vehicle to local hospitals. The other jogger died at the scene.
The investigation is on-going.
