Oceanside, CA–The Oceanside Public Library will present renowned young adult author Darcie Little Badger on June 30.
She is the bestselling indigenous author of the young adult fantasy novel Elatsoe, which has received widespread acclaim. The novel was named by TIME as one of the 100 best fantasy novels of all time. Her other novels, A Snake Falls to Earth and Sheine Lende: A Prequel to Elatsoe, have also been met with praise.
Known for her captivating storytelling within the genre, Little Badger will delve into her journey to mastering storytelling. Whether you’re an aspiring writer or simply curious about the craft, this talk promises to be enlightening. After the talk, Little Badger will partake in a Q&A session with the audience. Free copies of all three of her novels will be available for participants to receive and have signed while supplies last.
The program begins at 1 p.m. at the Civic Center Community Room at 330 North Coast Highway.
