SAN DIEGO–A San Diego County woman who hit a $79,134.48 jackpot at Viejas Casino says she plans to “share the love” with her soon-to-be granddaughter.
Imelda K. of Spring Valley was playing the 25-cent Pot o’ Gold slot machine on Monday, January 3, when she hit the jackpot while playing with her V Club card. Imelda says she’s won other jackpots at Viejas Casino and plans to spend some of her latest winnings on a granddaughter due in February.
“What a way to ring in the New Year!” said Viejas Casino General Manager David Williams. “We knew January was going to be exciting because of all the promotions we have planned, but it adds to the excitement when the first winner hits it big in the very first days of the month. We think that’s just a sign of what’s to come for our guests in January.”
During January’s Fee Play Cash Kaboom promotion, Viejas Casino guests have an automatic chance to win up to $500 in Free Play Cash by playing their favorite slots every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Also in January, Viejas Casino guests can earn chances to win a share of $15,000 simply by swiping their V Club card daily through January 29.
