FALLBROOK–David Musser will be a featured artist at Fallbrook’s Brandon Gallery in its Etcetera Gallery during the month of June, with a special reception Sunday, June 6 from 1 to 4 p.m.
A long -time resident of the Temecua valley, Musser worked as a professional musician for many years before changing careers to commercial art. After graduation from San Diego State University with a degree in applied art, he spent many years as an animator and illustrator in the motion picture-television industry. For eight years, he owned and operated his own gallery. He now makes his living as a teacher and demonstrator.
Musser teaches watercolor, pastel, oil, and acrylic painting at UC Riverside and Riverside Community College. His watercolor workshops are very popular all over the Southern California area. Primarily a plein aire painter, his work has won twenty best-of-show and first place awards. His work transcends reality and captures the spectacular light and vivid colors of Southern California.
