Members of the San Diego May 1st Coalition, a Latino civil rights organization, gathered in front of Hall of Justice in downtown San Diego to call for repeal of Arizona law SB 1070.
At a news conference Friday afternoon, the group called for the total repeal of Arizona’s law and to ask the US 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn it.
The court began hearing arguments about SB 1070 on Monday in San Francisco.
The law is currently is under a partial injunction following a suit brought by the U.S. Department of Justice.
