ALPINE–Authorities are searching for three men who robbed a jewelry store Tuesday at the Viejas Outlets in Alpine.
Shortly after 11:30 a.m., Alpine Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call reporting a jewelry store robbery that occurred at the Daniels Jewelers, located at the Viejas Outlets, 5005 Willows Road in Alpine.
Deputies determined that the suspects were not on scene and had left with no known direction of travel. No employees were injured.
The suspects were described as three male adults in their 20’s. They were seen fleeing to a dark colored sedan that was found in the 4300 block of West Willows Road in Alpine-within minutes of the robbery.
No suspects were contacted in or near the vehicle.
A large amount of jewelry of various types was taken by the suspects and the amount of the loss is yet to be determined by the victim.
