CARLSBAD—Interfaith Community Services has opened a new center to service residents in Carlsbad, CA. The City of Carlsbad gave the center a grant of $600,000 to open the permanent home of the new service center.
Funding from the city will cover the purchase of the building, and improvements Interfaith made to the facility, including adding computer lab, open office space, private meeting rooms, and a refrigerator-freezer to support healthy food distributions. The 25,000 square-foot facility will provide needed additional space for employment services, basic needs storage, social services and more.
