Higgs Fletcher And Mack Named CA Western School Of Law’s Top Financial Contributor

December 6, 2015 By sdcnews

SAN DIEGO–Higgs Fletcher and Mack, a San Diego-based, full-service law firm for more than 75 years, announced it was named California Western School of Law’s top financial contributor for its “Law Firm Challenge.”

Of the 14 participating firms, Higgs was recognized for generating more than $4,000 towards the $12,000 raised and securing 100 percent alumni participation in the campaign.

“We take great pride in supporting the local law schools our attorneys attended. What’s remarkable is that the donations didn’t come solely from California Western alumni, but other attorneys within the firm as well,” said Rahil Swigart, attorney at Higgs Fletcher and Mack and a 2003 California Western graduate. “Our attorneys also fund an annual diversity scholarship to the school. I’m extremely proud of our firm for its contributions in this challenge and our longstanding commitment to giving back to the legal community.”

California Western’s Law Firm Challenge is a community-based alumni engagement campaign that helps renew the bond between the law school and its alumni as well as promotes California Western within the legal community. Firms employing two or more California Western alumni were challenged to achieve 100 percent alumni giving. Of the 14 participating firms, 117 alumni – or 91 percent of all graduates – participated in the challenge and raised more than $12,000 in support of the law school and its programs.
