Although the Iowa Caucuses are exactly two months away, Cain supporters around the country are already casting their votes – with their wallet. In the last three days, Cain backers have given generously to Cain’s presidential campaign by providing him over $1.2 million in financial gifts.
“These extra resources are critical to help fight back the malicious attempts of the liberal media and political rivals to derail the Cain Train. The Washington elite and the political establishment underestimate the power and commitment of American people, said Mark Block, Chief of Staff to the Herman Cain presidential campaign. “Since the beginning of the campaign, Mr. Cain has told the American people that he has their back and now the American people are showing they have his.”
Online donations and phone donations have doubled their normal daily rate since Monday and the campaign has received threefold their normal monthly fundraising average in the past 72 hours.
