CARLSBAD–Several families were displaced after a early Thursday morning fire damaged an apartment complex in Carlsbad, authorities said.
Carlsbad Fire Department crews responded to the 4 a.m. fire at the complex, located in the 1000 block of Chinquapin Avenue.
The blaze destroyed about four units. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
