OCEANSIDE–The city’s Filipino community gathered at the Civic Center Library and Plaza to celebrate their culture at the 10th annual Fil-Am Fest in downtown Oceanside.
Saturday’s event, presented by the Filipino-American Cultural Association included a “Little Miss Fil-Am,” “Pre-Teen Fil-Am” and “Mrs. Fil-Am” pageant, a traditional fashion show, music, dance, food, and Filipino arts and crafts, and folklore story time.
