On Thursday, at about 6 p.m., San Diego police received a radio call to check the welfare of a female inside of an apartment in the 7700 block of Mission Gorge Road.
Officers entered the apartment and located a white female in her 30’s that had suffered blunt force trauma to her upper torso and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Specific injuries and the cause of death will not be known until after the autopsy is completed.
No arrests have been made but police are investigating individual(s) who possibly have known the victim and are persons of interest at this time.
The victim’s identity is known but is being withheld pending notification to family members.
