HAWAII—A man was arrested Wednesday in Tijuana, Mexico after allegedly making threats against Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, U.S. Representative for the 2nd District of Hawaii, FBI says. Aniruddha Sherbow was taken into custody by Policia Estatal Preventiva, Baja California State Police Fugitive Unit, pursuant to a federal arrest warrant issued in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Sherbow was turned over to FBI agents in San Diego. He had his initial court appearance in San Diego, prior to his eventual return to Washington, D.C., to face the outstanding charge of transmission of threats in interstate commerce. The alleged threats occurred on August 1 and August 3 and were deemed credible.
