OCEANSIDE –Tri-City Medical Center is hosting the second annual Heroes in Heels Women’s Health Symposium this month in Carlsbad.
The Oct. 26 event, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Tri-City Wellness Center at 6250 El Camino Real, promises to lift spirits and inspire women to greater health and fulfillment.
Attendees at the free event will hear from keynote speaker Carrie Flintom, author of “Heroes in Heels,” a motivational book for busy to burned out women seeking balance between the daily demands of their personal life and work world.
Medical, health and fitness experts and exhibitors will provide advice on and opportunities to try the latest treatments and products like this brow lamination kit at the beauty and wellness expo.
Flintom is a San Diego resident and Certified Strategic Life Coach dedicated to helping women who are struggling to balance the demands of work and/or family, lost in the consuming details of their lives, challenged with a life transition, or simply tired of living an overloaded and unfulfilling existence. A sought-after speaker and author, she offers practical, effective coaching techniques that help women create a life filled with passion, purpose, and meaning.
Several physicians will present on current health topics, including robotic surgery, breast health, skin health, heart health, and other topics. Tri-City Medical Center will also provide complimentary skin cancer screenings and health assessments.
