Families encouraged to participate in enrichment programs in October

SAN MARCOS–The City of San Marcos Family Enrichment Program (FEP) will host two special events during the month of October.

Families will join together to make no-carve pumpkins on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive. The event is $3 per person plus a yearly (prorated) membership fee of $12 per family.  Space is limited and participants must register by Tuesday, October 5.

The Family Enrichment Program is hosting its’ 6th annual Halloween Party on Saturday, October 23 from 6 to 8 pm at The Wood House, 1148 Rock Springs Road in San Marcos.

Cost for the event is just $5 per person and includes crafts, treats, BINGO and other carnival games. Additional game tickets will be available for purchase at a cost of $1 for five tickets. Wear your Halloween costume. Presale tickets are available for purchase at the San Marcos Community Center for $4 per person.
