FALLBROOK–The Fallbrook Art Center is among the 160 museums and art centers across the nation holding special presentations in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the American Studio Glass Movement, coordinated by the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass in Dallas, Texas.
The art show is open to all glass artists with emphasis on high-quality work possessing precision, a strong sense of design and technique. The 2012 show will include a substantial presentation of historic works by Masters of the Movement – Littleton, Lipofsky, Labino, Dreisbach, Chihuly, Morris and more. In addition, the show will have a mock studio set-up and extensive signage and videos. The event will include a Collector/Artist Panel, Glassblowing Opportunities & Demos at Fallbrook School of the Arts. The 2012 show will not have a Gallery Shop-however, glass artists may also submit works for the gallery.
