LA JOLLA–The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) will hold its 2nd Animaltarian Awards ceremony on September 29 to honor local animal heroes in San Diego county.
Animal lovers will gather in La Jolla for an inspiring afternoon dedicated to local animal heroes: La Jolla Veterinary Hospital, Loving Hands Veterinary Services, and local TV personality and San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine pet columnist, KUSI’s Sandie Lampe.
FACE will be honoring these individuals and groups for their professional and personal dedication to FACE’s mission of saving pets and helping families through their work in the San Diego community.
In addition to the awards ceremony, guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails, hor d’oeuvres, and a silent auction filled with fantastic items and experiences, including a whale watching cruise aboard a private yacht.
Registration for the event is available online at www.face4pets.org. General admission is $100 and VIP tickets are $300. VIPs will receive early admission, a private tour of one of the finest private collections of African and pre-Columbian art in California, and a tour of the estate’s exotic bird aviary.
Proceeds from this event benefit the FACE Foundation, a 501(c)(3) San Diego non-profit that provides financial assistance for pets in need of life-saving veterinary care. To date, FACE has assisted over 2,415 local pets in need.
