Del Mar, CA–The 22nd District Agricultural Association is hiring for this summer’s San Diego County Fair.
Over the next few months, the District will hire more than 1,200 temporary workers for the Fair. All temporary jobs are posted on the San Diego County Fair’s website at sdfair.com/jobs.
The jobs include cashiers, customer care team players, gate attendants, traffic controllers, public safety associates, stagehands, and more. The Fair features both indoor and outdoor positions. For every job, the District seeks candidates who embody its Fair’s values, which stand for Fun, A+ Quality, Integrity, Respect, and Service.
“Each year, our goal is to build a team that helps San Diego to start the summer in the most fun and exciting way possible,” says Carlene Moore, CEO of the 22nd District Agricultural Association, which produces the Fair and owns and operates the Del Mar Fairgrounds. “We want people who want to work hard, have a lot of fun, and allow generations of San Diegans to create cherished memories by providing unforgettable experiences in a festive atmosphere.”
Hiring for many positions has already begun, with some jobs starting before the Fair officially opens. Full job descriptions are available at sdfair.com/jobs.
Previous Fair employees are encouraged to reapply for any position that matches their skills and interests.
