ENCINITAS–Over the next five years, the City of Encinitas will be investing money from the federal government through Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) to assist low-to moderate-income (LMI) households and communities.
The city invites community participation in deciding how the money is invested to create a more healthy, safe, and prosperous city for low to moderate-income community members.
City staff will conduct two community meetings at the Encinitas Library, 540 Cornish Avenue, on October 14 at 3 p.m. and October 21 at 3 p.m. to discuss the development of the city’s proposed Consolidated Plan for Fiscal Years 2020-2025. The purpose of these community forums is to give residents and interested organizations an opportunity to share their ideas regarding the city’s development of the plan.
If you require special assistance to participate in this meeting, contact Jace in Risk Management at jschwarm@encinitasca.gov or (760) 633-2636 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.
If you are unable to attend either of the meetings, please provide your input through an online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/EncinitasConPlan.
