This year’s event, set to be the largest ever hosted, will take place on August 1, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the parking lot at Parkway Plaza Mall in El Cajon.
National Night Out is a cherished tradition that brings together law enforcement agencies and community members, providing an invaluable opportunity for open dialogue and building stronger, safer neighborhoods.
A major highlight of the celebration is the addition of a fitness competition, offering participants the chance to showcase their strength and endurance as they challenge officers through obstacles.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the event will feature a live band, Whiskey Ridge, setting the stage for an evening of country music and line dancing. A spacious dance floor will be available for those eager to show off their moves, ensuring a lively and enjoyable evening for all.
And for those looking to meet some San Diego celebrity athletes, the San Diego Wave will be attending with a mini-pitch setup to play in.
Children can unleash their creativity by engaging in crafts and participating in an exciting art competition, allowing them to showcase their artistic talents. The event will provide a platform for young artists to express themselves and contribute to the vibrant culture of El Cajon.
