VISTA–(GLOBE NEWSWIRE)–EcoBlu Products, Inc., announced today that its BLUWOOD™ technology is being used in the historical restoration of the Bancroft Rock House in Spring Valley. The project, funded by a state grant, is being coordinated by the city of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation who specified the use of EcoBlu’s BLUWOOD™ technology for all wood products used in the restoration.
The Bancroft Rock House was built between 1885 and 1888 and was used by visitors staying at historian Hubert H. Bancroft’s ranch in the late 1800s. When completed, the Rock House, along with the Bancroft Ranch House, will help younger Californians better understand San Diego County’s pioneer days.
