SAN DIEGO–A magnitude-5.4 earthquake, centered about 13 miles northwest of Borrego Springs, rocked San Diego county Wednesday, according to U.S. Geological Survey.
The temblor shook buildings as far as Riverside County and as far north as Palmdale in northern Los Angeles County.
No immediate reports of injuries or structural damage at press time.
