CARLSBAD–More than 700 cyclists from all levels will compete for prizes and cash at the third annual Carlsbad Grand Prix on July 20.
Cyclists across the U.S. will compete in junior, amateur, professional, and Paralympics categories.
The 7 a.m. race kicks off at the Carlsbad Flower Fields, and continues through a scenic, flat 0.9 mile bike course that loops through Armada Drive and Fleet Street.
Children ages 10 and under can participate in a free Kid’s Race. The race begins at 7 a.m.
Other activities include a Healthy Lifestyle expo, live entertainment from the Museum of Making Music, a bike rodeo, and food booths.
