SAN DIEGO–The Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division One (San Diego), has announced its intention to destroy the following criminal, juvenile, and civil records pursuant to Rule 10.1028(c), California Rules of Court:
All civil, criminal and juvenile cases designated in records transfer lists 30, 31 & 32 from years 1983 to 1990. A detailed list of cases is posted at www.courtinfo.ca.gov/courts/courtsofappeal/4thDistrictDiv1/pressrel.htm
These cases encompass criminal cases preserved for more than 20 years and civil cases preserved for more than 10 years.
Anyone who knows of a reason why any of the above cases should be retained, whether for historical or other reasons, should notify Stephen M. Kelly, Clerk/Administrator. The reasons for retention should be in writing, should be received by the court by Friday, November 5, 2010, and should be addressed to:
