County seeks input on locations for mental health service facilities‏

June 5, 2010 By Staff

The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) will hold four community forums to gather input from the public and the mental health community on possible locations for mental health service facilities.

The facilities will be used to provide mental health services or will serve as administrative offices. Funding for the services and facilities comes from the Mental Health Services Act, approved by California voters in 2004.

The forums will take place on the following dates at the locations below:

June 9- 2:00—4:00 p.m.; HHSA East County Adoptions; Conference Room 198 W. Main; El Cajon, CA 92020

June 14- 2:00—4:00 p.m.; Health Services Complex; San Diego Conference Room; 3851 Rosecrans Street; San Diego

June 23 – 2:00—4:00 p.m.; HHSA South Region Center; Room 2; 690 Oxford Street; Chula Vista

June 29 – 2:00—4:00 p.m.; HHSA North Inland Regional Center; Executive Conference Room; 600 E. Valley Parkway; Escondido

For more information about the upcoming forums, call 1-888-977-6763, or email mhsprop63.hhsa@sdcounty.ca.gov.
