San Diego, CA–County health officials have lifted the water contact closure for the Silver Strand and Coronado shorelines.
Recent water quality testing confirms that sewage-contaminated flows from the International Border are no longer impacting these beaches, the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality said in a news release.
The ocean shoreline from the International Border to the north end of Imperial Beach will remain closed until sampling confirms these areas are safe for water contact.
