CARLSBAD–Authorities arrested two men in connection with an alleged discharge of a firearm at an apartment complex in Carlsbad.
Carlsbad police officers identified the pair as 25-year-old Christian Sims of Carlsbad and 20-year-old Edoardo Fenzi of Carlsbad. They arrested both Sims and Fenzi for felon in possession of a firearm and conspiracy, and booked them into the Vista Detention Facility.
On October 21, shortly before 3:30 p.m., Carlsbad police officers responded to the 2000 block of Cassia Road for a report of the discharge of a firearm.
On arrival, officers found the two occupants of the apartment had fled the unit.
With the assistance of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department helicopter ASTREA and witnesses, officers located the pair in the pool area of a nearby apartment complex located in the 1900 block of Cassia Road.
No injuries were reported. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
