Carlsbad Library To Host Free Concert

February 23, 2013 By sdcnews

CARLSBAD–Georgina Cole Library will host a special performance of Taryn Donath Duo on March 10.

Taryn Donath Duo features Carlsbad-native Donath on keyboards and Marcus Bashoreon drums, performing a spontaneous and eclectic mix of funk, soul, swing, blues, Latin jazz and their own style of “beatnik blues.”

Performing in clubs and festivals across Southern California and beyond for the past 16 years, Donath’s commanding style fills the stage with the sound of a full band.

The concert will be held at 2 p.m. at the Georgina Cole Library’s Community Room, 1250 Carlsbad Village Drive in Carlsbad.

Admission is free. Seating is limited and first come, first served.

For more information, call (760) 602-2024, or visit www.carlsbadlibrary.org.
