CAMP PENDLETON–Camp Pendleton units will be firing high-explosive munitions into the Whiskey and Zulu impact areas from midnight to 3 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. to midnight Friday.
Aircraft will drop explosive munitions into the Zulu impact area from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.
