FALLBROOK—Investigators arrested a Camp Pendleton Marine in connection with the murder of a Fallbrook man.
On Friday, shortly after 5 p.m., Kevin Albert Richard Coset was taken into custody for the murder of Bulaoro by Sheriff’s Homicide detectives. Coset is a Corporal in the Marine Corp., and he was taken into custody at Camp Pendleton with the assistance of NCIS agents. An arrest warrant was obtained that afternoon by Sheriff’s Homicide detectives, charging Coset with the murder of Bulaoro.
On January 3, at about 6 p.m., the family of missing person Alvin Bulaoro located his Toyota 4Runner in a parking lot in the 1100 block of South Mission Road in Fallbrook. Bulaoro was last seen by his family on December 21, 2012. The family reported the discovery of the vehicle to the Sheriff’s Department. When deputies checked the interior of the vehicle they found Bulaoro’s body in the back seat area. He was zipped up in a sleeping bag and had signs of trauma to his body. Bulaoro’s death was investigated as a homicide by Sheriff’s Homicide.
