Vista, CA–Two vehicles suffered damages Saturday after fuel in plastic containment burst into flames in the bed of a truck in Vista, fire officials said.
Vista fire crews and Sheriff’s deputies received a report around 3:39 p.m. of the vehicle fires near the 7-Eleven convenience store on North Santa Fe Avenue and Townsite Drive.
The driver allegedly was using the plastic containers to add fuel to his truck’s carburetor when it burst into flames, according to fire officials. The burning fuel flowed down the road on Townsite Drive setting a woman’s vehicle on fire.
