ENCINITAS–A body of a possible surfer was found on Swami’s Beach Friday morning in Encinitas, Sheriff’s deputies said today.
Deputies say the body was located in the 1300 block of South Coast Highway 101. The unidentified adult male was wearing a wetsuit and still attached to his surfboard by the leash.
A cause and manner of death, as well as positive identification of the victim, will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
