SAN DIEGO–More than 100,000 spectators lined along Harbor Boulevard in downtown San Diego Wednesday for the Port of San Diego’s 19th annual Big Bay Balloon Parade.
The event, billed as America’s largest balloon parade, featured 22 helium inflatable balloons, floats, college marching bands, drill teams, firefighters, Marine Corp and Navy bands, local celebrities and dignitaries.
The parade’s 5.5 mile route began at the County Administration building to Pacific Coast Highway near Seaport Village. The event was presented by San Diego County Credit Union and Pacific Life Holiday Bowl Production.
