Encinitas, CA–San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify and locate a suspect wanted for vandalizing San Dieguito Academy High School in Encinitas.
On January 1, just before 4 a.m., a man walked onto the campus, located at 800 Santa Fe Drive. He proceeded to spray paint vulgar slurs on the administration building, causing nearly $725 in damage. The suspect fled the scene on foot towards Santa Fe Drive.
He is described as a thin man wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and dark shoes.
Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call Sheriff’s Detective Monica De La Torre Chavez at (760) 966-3504 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
