ESCONDIDO–The California Center for the Arts, Escondido in partnership with the Media Arts Center San Diego will host a new, week-long Youth Media & Tech Camp in the Center’s Education Studios on Monday, July 25 – Friday, July 29 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
This technology art camp, geared towards ages 9 – 14, will teach participants about different aspects of media making ranging from music recording, movie making, stop motion animation, blogging, creating videos on DVD and live webcasting. The program includes demonstrations, creative collaboration and hands-on projects, all taught by professional instructors from the Media Arts Center San Diego. Campers will have access to cameras, software and equipment for creative projects with their peers.
On the final day, participants’ families are invited for a pizza party and film screening of their movie debuts.
Fee is $185 for the full week. Second siblings receive $20 off. Seats are limited.
Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch each day.
