SAN DIEGO–Arch Health Medical Group has received the “Elite” designation, the highest level awarded, for delivering high quality patient care during the past year.
The America’s Physician Group (APG), the leading association in the country representing physician organizations, awarded the designation based on Arch Health’s superior performance delivering risk-based, coordinated care throughout the year.
“Arch Health physicians work hard every day to provide patients the best care they can hope for,” Arch Health Executive Director, Ken Lester said. “While the Elite designation indicates a level of excellence, we believe in continued greatness for our patients, enhancing their “care for a lifetime”.”
The Elite designation is part of APG’s Standards of Excellence (SOE) program that promotes accountability and maintaining high standards of delivering risk-based, coordinated care. The SOE survey is offered to more than 300 APG members in 44 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
“Those physician organizations, who see the value of the Standards of Excellence survey, understand it takes commitment, vision and leadership to execute on delivering sustained value to their patients,” said Amy Nguyen Howell, MD, APG’s Chief Medical Officer.

Arch Health Medical Group is a multi-specialty, not-for-profit health care organization dedicated to enhancing the health of people in our communities.
