LOS ANGELES–The 52nd Annual GRAMMY® Awards telecast has received two Emmy® Award nominations in recognition of outstanding production excellence. Nominations were announced today by the Television Academy at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood, Calif. Including today’s nominations, the GRAMMY Awards have been nominated 20 times for production excellence, and a total of 22 times overall. The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards will air live from Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 29.
The two GRAMMY Award telecast nominations are for:
* Outstanding Sound Mixing For a Variety or Music Series or Special
* Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control For a Miniseries, Movie or a Special

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were produced by John Cossette Productions and AEG Ehrlich Ventures for The Recording Academy. Ken Ehrlich and John Cossette were executive producers, and Louis J. Horvitz was the director. David Wild and Ken Ehrlich were the writers. Rickey Minor was the musical director for the telecast.
